1) Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using this website, products, and services (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
2) About Us & Scope
Smart Cashier Malaysia provides Point-of-Sale (POS) software, compatible hardware (e.g., printers, scanners, cash drawers), onboarding, and support services for retail and F&B businesses. Information on the Platform is for general guidance and may change without prior notice.
3) Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to bind your business. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and all activities under your account.
4) Orders, Pricing & Payment
- Prices are shown in MYR and may include applicable taxes/fees. Displayed prices, payment methods, delivery timeframes, and key terms follow Malaysia’s online trading disclosure requirements.
- Placing an order constitutes an offer; we may accept or reject (e.g., due to stock, verification, or pricing errors).
- Payments are processed under the billing descriptor “Smart Cashier Malaysia.”
- Electronic records and communications for transactions are legally recognized.
5) Delivery, Installation & Risk of Loss
Title and risk of loss pass upon delivery to your address or carrier pickup as stated on the invoice. Installation/setup (if included) will be scheduled during business hours unless agreed otherwise.
6) Software Licence & SaaS
We grant a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the software solely for your internal business purposes. You shall not copy, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works except as permitted by law. Third-party integrations (e.g., payment gateways) are subject to their own terms.
7) Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
Returns and refunds follow our Refund & Returns Policy. Please review before purchase.
8) Warranties
- Hardware: Covered by manufacturer’s warranty (if provided) from delivery date; terms vary by product.
- Software/Services: Provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation but will use reasonable efforts to provide support as stated below.
9) Support & Maintenance
Standard support is via email/WhatsApp during business hours (Mon–Fri, excluding public holidays). Response and resolution times may vary depending on case complexity.
10) Prohibited Use
You agree not to misuse the Platform, including: unauthorized access; introducing malware; infringing intellectual property; violating laws/regulations; or interfering with other users or network security.
11) Intellectual Property

12) Data Protection & Privacy
We process personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) and our Privacy Policy (purpose, retention, disclosure, and your rights). By using the Platform or submitting forms (e.g., “Book a Demo”), you consent to the processing described therein.
13) Consumer Disclosures (Online Transactions)
For online sales, we disclose required seller information, pricing, key terms, and relevant policies as mandated under Malaysia’s e-commerce regulations.
14) Unfair Terms & Mandatory Rights
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under Malaysian consumer law. Clauses will be interpreted subject to rules on unfair contract terms and general contract principles.
15) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages; loss of profits, data, or business interruption arising from or related to the Platform, products, or services.
16) Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Smart Cashier Malaysia harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights.
17) Third-Party Links & Services
The Platform may contain links to or integrate with third-party services. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use is at your own risk.
18) Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, government action, network outages, strikes).
19) Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect upon posting on this page with the “Last updated” date. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
20) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Malaysia. Recognition of electronic communications and records applies to these Terms and related transactions.
